The National Parks projects look great!

A Language Arts review packet was sent home Thursday. This is a helpful tool for the upcoming Terra Nova Tests.  The tests will take place the week of March 5th-9th.  

Please bring in any childrens books you are not using at home for Bernie's Book Drive. If the third grade collects 600 books they will win an ice cream party!!  Let's do it!!!

Chapter 6 Test Feb. 24  ( Friday)

 National Park Research Project

Due Feb. 21. Each student will receive a National Park to research. The studnets need to include in a report the location, significance, special features, climate, and any other interesting facts they can find out. Along with an oral report , each students should create a poster, model, or diorama of their National Park.  Let your Creativity Go WILD !

If the students in Third grade donate a total of 600 books to Bernie's book drive we will celebrate with an ice cream party !!! Please look for books around the home that can be donated to Bernie's book drive !

A language packet was sent home to help review the skills that will be on the Terra Nova. Plese look over the skills. The Terra Nova testing dates are March 5th -8th

Please note that Extra Credit is changing. It will be worth 5 points  and will randomly be put on the teacher page !

3rd graders will learn how to count to 20, shapes, and parts of the body.

Computer

Third Grade is working on keyboarding skills this week. Accuracy and speed are the name of the game.

Music

In third grade music we are exploring the instruments of the orchestra and musical instrument families.  This website is fun and a great way to review instruments of the orchestra!
