Dear SJB Families,

We have had an eventful week at SJB School! Congratulations to our 2nd-grade students for receiving the sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday. I am very proud of our students for their work and dedication to our faith. Thank you to Mrs. Beierwaltes for everything she did to prepare our children. The Class of 2022 and their parents participated in the Ribbon Mass on Friday. It was a beautiful ceremony that was followed by a delicious brunch. On Thursday,  our 5th-8th grade students performed High School Musical Jr. for students and families. They did an amazing job! Hats off to Ms. Mortera for facilitating such a great performance.

Covid Protocol Update: Any student who is exposed to a positive case of Covid, regardless of vaccination status, does not need to quarantine any longer, as long as they are not showing any symptoms. We will continue to have the 5-day quarantine for positive cases.

Welcome New Staff for the 2022-2023 School Year: Please join me in welcoming Ms. Florinda Nitti and Mrs. Kasia Guzman to our staff for the next school year! Ms. Nitti is our new intermediate teacher! She will teach our 3rd, 4th and 5th-grade students English and writing. Mrs. Guzman will be our middle school math teacher and 6th-grade homeroom teacher. We are very excited to welcome them to our SJB team!

Re-register for the 2022-2023 school year: The first class to have 100% enrollment participation will win a pizza party, and 3rd grade is in the lead!

What is 100% enrollment participation? The parents of every student in the class:

  1. Re-enroll students for next year, OR
  2. Notify the office at office@sjbschool.org if your family is not returning.

Please re-enroll or notify our office as soon as possible. Help your child's class win the contest!

Virtus: All parents need to be Virtus trained and complete all other requirements in order to volunteer, go on field trips, attend class parties, or coach. Go to https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/ to set up your account, participate in the online training, or check your existing account to make sure you have completed all monthly bulletins and required items.
